ATOM EV.

ATOM-EV, a cost-effective and environmentally friendly 8-seater buggy, was conceptualized as the ambitious project of a group of college students from Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology, Changanassery belonging to the IEDC network. The spark ignited during the 2019 IEDC summit finally materialized as the team proudly presented the ATOM-EV 8-seater buggy at this year's IEDC summit which provided a platform for the students to present their dream project.

This endeavor began as a student initiative funded through the sale of over 2,000 bulbs. Generating a significant revenue stream additional funding was required to realize their dream which was provided by the college management. Throughout the process, they experimented with eight different designs before arriving at the final model, adapting and refining their plans along the way, and learning from mistakes.

After two years of relentless effort, ATOM-EV now stands as the realization of their dreams. This remarkable achievement was driven purely by the students' determination to explore beyond the confines of their classrooms and delve into the world of engineering. It is worth noting that this project was not motivated by monetary gain. Rather, it was a testament to the students' sheer dedication and desire to push boundaries. Lacking the technical skills and guidance they were able to push through with sheer determination and innovative spirit. ATOM-EV represents the culmination of their hard work, aspirations, and unwavering effort to make a mark beyond the confines of academia.
